Privacy Policy — WellThot Jots

WellThot Jots (“the app”) is developed and published by WellThot LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). This policy explains how the app handles your information. The short version: we don't collect any of it.

We collect no personal data

WellThot Jots has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no trackers, and no third-party SDKs. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information about you, and we operate no servers that receive your data.

Your notes stay yours

The notebooks and drawings you create are stored on your device. If you have iCloud enabled, the app uses Apple's CloudKit to sync your notes through your own private iCloud account so they are available on your other devices. This data lives in your personal iCloud space and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We have no access to it — we cannot see, retrieve, or store your notes.

Backups and sharing are under your control

The app lets you export a backup, or share a notebook, as a file (a .zip) using the standard iOS share sheet. These exports go only where you send them (for example Files, Mail, or AirDrop). We are not involved and receive nothing.

Deleting your data

You can delete any note or notebook in the app, empty the Trash to remove items permanently, or use “Restore All” to replace everything. Because your data is stored only on your device and in your own iCloud, deleting it there removes it.

Children's privacy

The app is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. Because we collect no data from anyone, we collect no data from children.

Permissions

The app requests no special permissions — it does not access your photos, camera, contacts, location, microphone, or other personal data.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and post the revised version on this page. Material changes will be reflected here.
